MAPC - Master of Arts in Professional Counseling (ABHE)

Credits: 60 | Duration: 2-3 Years

The MAPC program provides comprehensive training in counseling theory, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical practice. Core coursework covers psychopathology, human development, group counseling, career counseling, multicultural counseling, and research methods. Students complete a supervised clinical practicum (300 hours) and internship (600 hours) at approved sites. The program meets educational requirements for LPCC licensure in California.

The MAMFT program provides specialized training in systemic and relational therapy approaches for couples, families, and individuals. Coursework covers family systems theory, couples therapy, child and adolescent therapy, trauma-informed care, and clinical ethics. Students complete supervised clinical experience (500+ hours) at approved sites. The program meets educational requirements for MFT licensure in California.

The DCP program develops advanced clinical competence, supervisory skills, research capability, and leadership capacity. Coursework covers advanced psychotherapy, clinical supervision, program development, and research methodology. Students complete a doctoral internship, dissertation research, and comprehensive examinations.
