Financial Aid Disbursement
Financial aid funds are typically disbursed at the beginning of each semester after enrollment verification. Below is important information about the disbursement process.
Disbursement Process
- Aid is disbursed after the add/drop period and enrollment verification
- Grant and loan funds are first applied to tuition and fees
- Any remaining credit balance is refunded to the student
- Refund checks are typically issued within 14 days of the credit balance
- Students may authorize aid to cover bookstore charges
- Disbursement requires completion of all financial aid requirements
- Half-time enrollment must be maintained for loan disbursement
