Step-by-Step Admission Process

Step 1: Submit Application

Complete the graduate application form online or in person. Include all required personal information, educational history, and program selection. Application forms are available on the university website or from the Graduate Admissions Office.

Submit all required documents including official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions, personal statement, professional references, resume/CV, and application fee. Doctoral applicants must also submit a writing sample and research interest statement. International students must submit TOEFL/IELTS scores.

The Graduate Admissions Committee reviews all submitted applications and supporting documents. The committee evaluates academic preparedness, professional experience, personal qualities, and potential for success in the chosen program. Review typically takes 3-4 weeks.

Qualified applicants are invited for an admissions interview with program faculty. Interviews may be conducted in person or via video conference. The interview assesses professional motivation, interpersonal skills, and suitability for the counseling profession.

Applicants receive an official admission decision via email and postal mail. Admitted students receive an acceptance packet with enrollment instructions, orientation information, and clinical training requirements.

Admitted students confirm enrollment by paying the deposit and completing registration. New students attend a mandatory orientation program covering academic expectations, clinical training requirements, ethical standards, and student support services.
