ABHE Accreditation Overview

The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as the national accrediting body for institutions of biblical higher education. ABHE accreditation validates the quality and integrity of our educational programs.

California Pacific University maintains its relationship with ABHE through ongoing compliance with accreditation standards. Our current accreditation status and related documentation are available for review. Please contact the Office of the Registrar for the most current information.

As part of the ABHE accreditation process, CPU prepares comprehensive self-study reports that document institutional effectiveness, program outcomes, and compliance with accreditation standards. These reports are available upon request.

CPU submits annual reports to ABHE that include data on enrollment, graduation rates, student outcomes, financial health, and institutional governance. These reports demonstrate our ongoing commitment to educational quality.

ABHE compliance documentation includes evidence of our adherence to standards related to institutional mission, governance, academic programs, student services, financial stability, and planning. These documents are maintained by the Office of Academic Affairs.
