Master's Program Admission
CPU offers several master’s level programs including the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts, and Master of Business Administration. Each program has specific admission requirements.
General Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (3.0 preferred)
- Completed application form with $50 fee
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions
- Personal statement of purpose and ministry/career goals
- Three letters of recommendation (academic and/or professional)
- Current resume or curriculum vitae
- Interview with program director (may be required)
Program-Specific Requirements
M.Div. Additional Requirements
Church endorsement letter, evidence of active church involvement, and statement of calling to ministry. Applicants should have a foundational understanding of Christian theology.
M.A. Additional Requirements
Writing sample (10-15 pages of academic work), research interest statement, and relevant undergraduate coursework in the area of study.
MBA Additional Requirements
Minimum of two years professional work experience preferred, GMAT scores (may be waived with significant professional experience), and professional goals statement.
